The New Polaris RZR Pro R Boost Has 275 HP
It didn't take long for Polaris to snatch the horsepower crown back from Kawasaki. Meet the 2027 RZR Pro R Boost with 275 horsepower from a turbocharged version of the 2.0-liter inline four cylinder found in the standard Pro R. Expect to see the machine hit dealers in November with an MSRP starting at $49,999.

That kind of horsepower puts the new Pro R Boost in heady company. The list of the most powerful production side by sides on sale right now looks like this:
- 2027 Polaris RZR Pro R Boost (275 HP)
- 2027 Kawasaki Teryx H2 (250 HP)
- 2027 Can-Am Maverick R (240 HP)
- 2027 Speed UTV El Jefe (225 HP. Optional Speed Key boosts output to 300 HP)
- 2027 Polaris RZR Pro R (225 HP)

Remember when we all thought 200 hp was insane? Ah, simpler times...
