Some years back, he briefly gained national attention for civil-disobedience trespassing on federal parkland during a government shutdown.

Racer, pilot, lifelong Wisconsin cheesehead, and DirtHammer’s dealmaking ace in the hole. A specialty car dealer, a serial entrepreneur, and the author of eight books on classic cars, Colin has owned and raced everything from hot-dog carts to Trans-Am Mustangs. He became addicted to side-by-sides after being handed the keys to a friend’s. The first hit is always free.

Former executive editor for UTV Driver, Virginian, and operator of a no-kill motorcycle shelter. Aaron's happy place is as deep in the booger woods as he can get, whether it's hunting white tail, stretching the dog's legs, or exploring Blue Ridge hollers on a Yamaha. When he isn't behind the wheel of a side-by-side, he's pondering the mysteries of a vintage BMW.
