The package is built around a steel-belt CVT automatic and an inline three-cylinder gas engine tuned or low down torque. It's actually the engine from the Polaris RZR Pro R with a cylinder lopped off and mapping that favors low-down torque over high-strung horsepower. With a tow capacity north of 2,500 pounds, this thing is an absolute workaholic mule for whatever job you throw at it.

This one is the Ranger Crew Northstar, which means it has all the possible creature comforts Polaris will sell you. HVAC? Check. RideCommand? Check. Big stereo? Check. It's also got a flip out glass windshield, a windshield wiper, electric windows, and an automotive-style interior layout. Polaris really pushed the boat out with this ute, and the industry largely hasn't caught up yet.
