DIRTHAMMER SAYS
The 2025 Kandi Lucky T9 is one of a very few electric sport side-by-sides on the market, and it sets itself apart by coming in many thousands of dollars cheaper than the more famous options. Where a Vanderhall Brawley will set you back better than $50,000, the Kandi Lucky is cheaper than a lot of brand-name gas rigs.
It's also awesome. They're not a household name yet, but Kandi turns out very well appointed rigs for the money, and their all-electric powertrains are more than just golf cart motors. The Lucky T9 gets 21,000 watts out of a 15.3 kWh lithium-ion battery, that Kandi claims is good for about 45 miles of range. Kandi quotes a top speed around 50 mph, but anecdotal evidence on the internet suggests more like 45.
That's plenty quick enough to keep up on tighter trails, and it's more than enough to go full riot mode on a small property. And, since the Lucky T9 uses electrons instead of gas, it's low-maintenance, cheap to run, quiet, and best of all, has all its power from zero RPM. Even though it might not have a super impressive top end, the low-down torque means it is bananas off the line.
