We were lucky enough to be among the first journalists to get their hands on the Polaris Xpedition when it debuted in 2023 as a 2024 model. Back when we were still reviewing side-by-sides, we were close with the fine folks at Polaris, and they made sure we were there to experience their all-new, genre-defining overlanding side-by-side.

Three years later, and we're still as smitten with the Xpedition as we were back then. This 2024 Polaris Xpedition XP 5 Ultimate is the entry-level five-seater, sporting a pickup-style bed from the factory. As an Ultimate trim, it left the factory with half doors and no windows or windshields.

Our friends at Powersports Depot in Franklin, North Carolina took the time to turn this Ultimate into a fully-enclosed five-seater SXS with more creature comforts than it left the factory with. They bolted in a cabin heater, manual roll-up glass windows, and windshields front and rear. It also sports Polaris RideCommand infotainment and a JBL stereo. Best of all, this sweet rig is street legal!

This rig has less than 70 miles on the dial, and the modifications were completed just before the auction opened. With less than 100 miles under its belt, very few cosmetic issues, and extra creature comforts, this thing is a hell of a good get.
