DIRTHAMMER SAYS
Staunton, VA.
If you want a four-stroke KTM enduro bike but you hate the idea of spending $15,000 on a dirt bike, here's your rig. This 2024 KTM 350 XW-F has 2.3 hours on the clock, comes with an uninstalled street legal kit and DOT tires, and is virtually spotless. The best part? Reserve is set at about half the cost of a brand-new KTM, and you give up absolutely nothing.
The XW-F is a California emissions-compliant off-road bike that was built for one year to adhere to updated California "green sticker" rules. The XW-F models have emissions controls and a quieter muffler that 49-state bikes did not get. The result is a more gentle power delivery and a cleaner-running engine. Want the full-fat 350 four-stroke experience? There are plenty of tuners who will happily "uncork" the 350 for a very reasonable cost.
The 350 XW-F uses WP's X-ACT closed-cartridge upside down fork, a WP Xplor shock absorber, and KTM's progressive damping system (PDS) linkage-less swingarm setup. That's all bolted to KTM's signature steel trellis frame, with a composite subframe out back to save weight. Even with a street legal kit installed, this will be a no-frills, stripped down dirt bike made for covering trails as fast as your guts will let you. KTM is the best in the business when you want to go fast off-road, and this 2024 350 XW-F is a bargain solution.
