Here is an absolutely fantastic trail rig for just about anyone. The 2024 Honda Talon 1000-R Fox Live Valve edition is a desert ripper with electronic suspension, one of the best chassis in the business, and the glory of a dual-clutch transmission. We've been in more of these things than we can count, and we've never encountered one we didn't like.

That said, the wide-track 1000-R with Fox Live Valve electronic suspension is the absolute pick of the litter. It's ostensibly the "desert" version, but even at 72 inches wide, it is still compact and nimble enough to rip East Coast trails. Add the excellent Fox Live Valve setup to the mix, and you have one of our favorite-ever trail weapons. The dual-clutch gearbox is just the icing. With 100 horsepower from an Africa Twin-derived 999cc naturally aspirated parallel twin, there's more than enough power on tap to hustle down whatever trail you come across.

This Talon 1000-R Fox Live Valve is in excellent condition, with less than 30 hours on the clock. It's got front and rear windscreens, a clear American flag roof panel, a cargo tray, and a sick stainless steel MBRP exhaust. It's sole owner has babied this machine, and that's a big win for the next owner.

Hondas are sought after for their build quality, reliability, and handling, and the Talon 1000-R is no exception. They're tens of thousands of dollars cheaper than the high-horsepower rippers from Can-Am and Polaris, but they're just as much fun, and with Live Valve on board, they're an absolute bargain. Do not miss this epic sport machine!

This FourTrax is in excellent shape, but has a couple cosmetic blemishes from age and use. The seat cover has a small hole, but a new-in-box Honda OEM seat is included.
