Reserve is set at $40,000 for this 2023 Speed UTV El Jefe!

This 2023 Speed UTV El Jefe is the second of two nearly identical Speed UTV El Jefes from our friends at JV Race Prep in El Cajon, CA. Like JV's other El Jefe, this is an almost unused example of Robby Gordon's desert-shredding, Baja-blasting four-door sport machine. This one has a sleek grey version of Speed's Cabo wrap, Speed RG beadlock wheels, and less than 100 miles on the clock.

The rig is absolutely loaded to the gills with options, and is "used" in name only. We defy you to find a mark or scratch on this sucker. It's really clean enough to eat off of. This one has the badass the Speed Key, which activates a 300-horsepower E85 tune. In standard mode, the 1,000cc turbocharged parallel twin puts out 225 horsepower. The best part? The engine is covered under Speed's extended warranty, even with the key activated.

The suspension is completely unique in the SXS market. It was designed by Baja 500 and Baja 1000 champ Robbie Gordon, and has more in common with a trophy truck than a side-by-side. Those massive trailing arms? Straight off a fullsize Baja racer, and not something anyone else is doing.

Not only is the design a level above the rest of the side-by-side market, the build quality is impeccable. Check out closeups of the chassis to get a look at the quality of those welds. Suffice it to say they set a standard others struggle to match.

This El Jefe has a long list of factory options, including the grey Cabo Wrap color scheme, the crescent-shaped bed cargo tray, a Wilwood big brake kit, a fullsize spare and C02 jack kit, a full UHMW skid plate, and Speed window nets for the front and rear passengers.

This machine rides on its original Speed UTV-branded 32-inch tires, which are in perfect shape. This rig is as clean and ready-to-go as you would expect for a 100-mile machine. It's not going to be cheap, but the line for a new Speed is long, and when you start tacking on all the options this one has, you're gonna be well above the seller's ask. And, trust us, this thing will absolutely run circles around other open-class sport side-by-sides in the $40,000 range.
