It started life as a take-no-prisoners sport side-by-side. The Maverick X3 X RS Turbo RR was the fastest thing available before the RZR Pro R and Can-Am Maverick R debuted, and for most mortals it is still way more capable than you are. Add a suite of race-ready mods, and you have an absolute weapon.

Remember, Can-Am won basically every race they entered with the Maverick X3, including the Baja 1000 and 500 and the Dakar Rally, for the best part of the last decade. It took some truly insane halo rigs to unseat the X3, and even now it is dominant in the right hands. Line up at any amateur race on any given Sunday, and you'll be presented with phalanxes of X3s.
