NO RESERVE!
If you yearn for the simple, small, inexpensive utility ATVs your pappaw and uncles used to bop around the farm, but you want power steering and don't ever want to touch a carburetor, here's your rig. The 2021 Yamaha Kodiak 450 is close to perfect as small utility ATVs go, and it's about as simple a modern rig as you could ask for. No, it won't punch its way out of a bar-deep mud bog, but it will ask very little of you while delivering years of faithful service at the farm or hunt camp.
The Kodiak 450 gets shove from a 421cc, fuel-injected single cylinder engine that routes power through a version of Yamaha's Ultramatic CVT. A dual range transfer case shoots power to either the rear or all four wheels, and it has an on-demand locking front diff. Our favorite thing about the Kodiak is that it's easily small enough to fit into the bed of a full-sized pickup. It weighs 650 pounds ready to rip, so it's not gonna overwhelm your half-ton, either.
Despite its compactness, you get cargo racks front and rear and a payload of about 300 pounds. There's a two-inch hitch receiver out back, and the Kodiak is rated to tow just over 1,300 pounds.
This 2021 Kodiak 450 has covered just over 1,300 miles, and has a fresh and documented engine rebuild. It also has an aftermarket winch with a remote, Yamaha alloy wheels, and a clean title. Mechanically, it's ready for years more service. It does plenty of cosmetic wear and tear from a life of hard work and some use on muddy fields and trails. There are visible bumps, scrapes, dings and repairs.
Bu at no reserve, this Yamaha Kodiak is a great way to get your hands on a ready-to-roll utility ATV for thousands less than MSRP!
