DIRTHAMMER SAYS
Irving, TX.
The Kawasaki Teryx4 S is a solid, entry level rec-ute machine with a well-earned reputation for toughness, reliability, and being inexpensive to buy, own, and operate. They're the unsung heroes of Kawasaki's lineup, but for most buyers the 800cc Teryx lineup is plenty capable for work and light trail use. The 783cc v-twin is a legend among side-by-side and ATV guys for being tough, fun, and torquey. It sees duty in the Brute Force ATVs and the Teryx 800s and is basically bomb-proof. Add in a big dash of simplicity, and you have a winning recipe.
This 2021 Kawasaki Teryx4 S has covered about 2,200 miles and is ready to tote you and your family around your local off-road park on the weekends, and pull farm duty during the week. It has a winch both for work and to get you out of sticky situations on the trail. Its chunky Maxxis Bighorn tires have plenty of tread left, so it should be a totally turn-key machine. We should note that this one-owner rig is on a rebuilt title and has had its original steering rack replaced. The seller says it runs fine and performs as normal.
If you don't need feet of suspension travel, hundreds of horsepower, or a rig that is far braver and more capable than you are, the Teryx4 S is a great option. They're simple as a hammer, and eschew the creature comforts of more expensive rigs in favor of Swiss-watch reliability. They're approachable, fun, and super affordable, and best of all, they're built by American workers in Kawasaki's Lincoln, Nebraska plant.
