DIRTHAMMER SAYS
Electric UTVs are awesome, especially for people with small homesteads in areas where noise reduction is a big concern. They're dead silent, offer all their torque from a standstill, and generally have more available grunt than comparable gas rigs. If that isn't enough, they're also way easier to maintain. No oil changes, no fillups, no belts. Way fewer moving parts means way less downtime.
The problem with EVs is cost of entry. It takes a lot of effort and tech to make an electric UTV be all things to all people, and that costs money. But this 2020 Intimidator Classic EV is rugged, affordable, and made in the USA. The secret? Simplicity.
The Intimidator uses a 48-volt brushless AC motor that gets juice from eight deep-cycle lead acid batteries. No lithium-ion wizardry here. It shoves 30 horsepower through a direct drive setup that feeds a selectable 2WD/4WD transfer case. Out back, you get a locking rear differential. It's rated at 700 pounds of bed capacity, and 1,500 pounds of towing capacity. That's Polaris Ranger 570 performance in a much cheaper, much stealthier, and much lower maintenance package.
This 2020 Intimidator Classic EV is in excellent condition, and has only covered 225 miles in its six years. It's on its original MSO, so be sure to check local laws and regulations if you mean to title the vehicle in your name.
Thanks to the scant mileage, this Intimidator is in excellent cosmetic shape, with just a few blemishes here and there. It got new batteries in preparation for the sale, so it is mechanically dialed for whatever comes next. This thing is a bargain American-made UTV that is ready for hard work.
