If you are looking for a turn-key machine to get into desert racing, or pre-run for your next big race, look no further. This 2020 Can-Am Maverick X3 X RC Turbo RR has just been freshly prepped for desert races by JAW Industries. They threw a huge stack of parts at this RC to get it dialed in for racing across the Southwest at full chat.

The full build list is below, but JAW grabbed an Alsup Racing sport cage, shock tower brace, trailing arms, and radius rod plate, Eibach springs, CT Race Worx high-clearance billet radius rods, and a set of Raceline Podium beadlocks wrapped in XCom Gladiator A/T ATR tires. It comes with a matching trunk-mounted wheel and tire. That's an impressive package by itself, but the interior features even more goodies, including Rugged Radios comms, Racequip harnesses, and Corbeau race seats.

The seller built the rig to compete in "short" desert races around their shop in El Cajon, California, and competed in two such events recently. In preparation to sell the machine, they changed the fluids, engine air filter, suspension bushings, and rod ends. The harnesses are certified for competition through June of 2027. The seller also added adjustable seat rails for the driver's Corbeau bucket seat. The passenger seat is fixed in place.

This 2020 Can-Am Maverick X3 X RC Turbo RR is race-ready as it sits, and needs nothing. It has a long list of high-quality suspension, chassis, safety, and performance upgrades. The underlying Maverick X3 produced 195 horsepower in stock trim. Until the introduction if the Polaris RZR Pro R and Can-Am Maverick R, the X3 Turbo RR lineup was the most powerful mass production side-by-side you could buy. Can-Am X3s have won just about every desert race you can think of, from the Baja Peninsula to the Dakar Rally in Saudi Arabia, to dozens of local races and rally-cross competitions.
