This 2017 Honda TRX500 FourTrax Foreman 4x4 is a super clean, low-mile example of one of the best utility ATV platforms ever. With a simple, fuel-injected 475cc single driving all four wheels through a five-speed gearbox with an automatic clutch, this rig will show up to work day-in, day-out, year after year with no complaints.

Maybe our favorite thing about this rig is just how compact and simple it is. In an era when ATVs routinely push 1,000 pounds, put out 100 horsepower, and require a trailer to move, the FourTrax is a breath of fresh air. This thing is less than 85 inches long, less than 48 inches wide, and weighs just over 720 pounds ready to roll. It'll easily fit in a full-size pickup, and it has no trouble with tight gates, small sheds, or narrow trails.

This 2017 Honda TRX500 FourTrax Foreman 4x4 is the simplest of the bunch. It lacks power steering, making it the most basic FourTrax you could get in '17. The controls are easily manageable without the power steering, and the mechanical simplicity means there are very few things to worry about breaking.

As spring is well and truly sprung across the country, it's high time to start lining up a solid utility rig to help out around the house this year. With very few miles, no reserve, and a bunch of new parts and recent maintenance, this Honda is a no-brainer!

This FourTrax is in excellent shape, but has a couple cosmetic blemishes from age and use. The seat cover has a small hole, but a new-in-box Honda OEM seat is included.
