This 2004 Recreatives Industries Max II 6x6 is an amphibious off-roader that prioritizes slow and maneuverable over quick and agile. No, you can't take it off any sweet jumps. But almost nothing that will do sweet jumps can turn 180 degrees within its own length, let alone ford whatever lake or river you encounter.

The Max II uses a skid-steer transmission, six-wheel drive, and an industrial v-twin to crawl up, over, or through anything in its path. The two-seat cabin is set in a buoyant plastic tub, and the skid steer transmission eliminates transmission and differential slip, so you always have perfect traction. DH co-founder Colin Comer bought this thing brand-new in 2003 and has used it around his small property ever since.

Comer's fleet is one of the best-kept in the country, and this rig has always been dealer serviced. It just got a new fuel pump and carburetor cleaning, and the drive chain and transmission are in great shape. Comer bought it with the optional heavy-duty axles and larger Goodyear tires.
